Song of The Day

So I am fortunate enough to be able to go see U2 October 25th! I am psyched and excited to see one of the bands that describe my childhood. I remember my dad putting on the vhs of U2 videos in the weekend mornings and we would sing along and be fascinated with what the band "U2" was.

This song seriously makes me want to skip down streets and live a happy joyful life! It is one of my favorite U2 songs and I recently re-discovered it once Carlos (my friend from school) gave me a CD of their concert. I immediately put heard this song and it pulled straight on my heart strings.

Enjoy this! I hope you love it as much as I love it.

Will post lyrics because they are amazingly powerful.
I want to run
I want to hide
I want to tear down the walls
That hold me inside
I want to reach out
And touch the flame
Where the streets have no name

I want to feel, sunlight on my face
See that dust cloud disappear without a trace
I want to take shelter from the poison rain
Where the streets have no name

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
Were still building
Then burning down love, burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you...
(its all I can do)

The cities a flood
And our love turns to rust
Were beaten and blown by the wind
Trampled into dust
Ill show you a place
High on ta desert plain
Where the streets have no name

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
Still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
(its all I can do)
